Together with our long-standing partner Sandvik Coromant, we have developed an innovative solution for the internal machining of complex components. As part of this project, an integrated machine, tool, and software solution was created, enabling a new level of process monitoring directly within the machining operation.
This article provides insights into the technical implementation and shows how close collaboration has led to new approaches for greater transparency, process reliability, and efficiency in machining.

Reprofiling: Underfloor machining of wheelsets by NSH subsidiary HEGENSCHEIDT-MFD
We were guests at the Karlsruher Verkehrsbetriebe. As a customer of our subsidiary HEGENSCHEIDT-MFD, they use the U2000-400 underfloor machine for wheelset machining.
The modern underfloor wheelset lathe not only meets all currently known work and accuracy requirements, but its overall design is also geared to future developments.

We had the pleasure to look behind the scenes of the OTTO FUCHS business at the company’s site in Meinerzhagen together with the film team of our video partner Video Vision.
The aim was to film footage for the documentation of the highly automated production cell we recently delivered to OTTO FUCHS, consisting of a TurnMill machining center N50MC and a Kuka robot for loading and unloading of all workpieces via the machine front.
Usecase SHB - Highly customized workpieces for crane and hoist equipment
They are the specialists when it comes to heavy loads. The globally operating company SHB Hebezeugbau GmbH (Saalfeld, Germany) manufactures process cranes with lifting capacities of up to 250 tons for a wide variety of industries such as steel mills and foundries. They also produce special crane systems for the automotive and construction materials industries. Another business area is components for railroad and materials handling technology.
