Horizontal Milling Machines
Our horizontal CNC milling machines in inclined bed design are based on the machine concept of our horizontal lathes and were originally designed as specialized machines especially for the automotive industry. They guarantee economical and accurate milling of crankshafts, camshafts or eccentric shafts in particular, especially the main and pin bearings, as well as cam and eccentric molds. Due to two different sizes, both compact components with a maximum- swing diameter up to 650mm and workpiece lengths up to 850mm and large workpieces with a maximum swing diameter of 780nm and workpiece lengths up to 2400mm can be machined accurately and reliably. Our milling machines allow both roughing and finish milling, and are characterized by their high cutting performance and minimum non-productive times as well as excellent automation, process reliability, and high accuracy. In addition, our in-house technology interface "Cam & Crank Shaft Milling aUI" offers the possibility to create machining programs automatically without extensive prior knowledge in NC programming.
Universal 5-Axle Milling Centers
Our universal 5-axle milling centers guarantee high-performance and high-precision milling of complex components with a wide range of geometries, materials, and sizes. The compact 5-axle milling centers have a maximum interference circle of 1900 mm and a maximum height of 1100 mm, as well as a maximum workpiece weight of 7 tons. This allows workpieces to be machined with precision fit, and process reliability, and also to be rough and finish machined in a single setup. The machines are characterized by high dynamics for heavy components due to low moving masses. Another advantage of our milling centers is the low space requirement in relation to the very large working area. At our location in Chemnitz, we produce both the NSH Group's Nmill-Series milling centers and the MILL E series machines for the Swiss mechanical engineering company Georg Fischer Machining Solutions.
Universal 5-Axle Milling Centers With Turning Function
Our universal 5-axle milling centers with turning function guarantee high-performance and high-precision turn-mil machining of complex components with a wide range of geometries, materials, and sizes. The compact 5-axle milling-turning centers have a maximum interference circle of 1900 mm, a maximum table diameter of 1500 mm, a height of 1100 mm, and can machine parts with a maximum workpiece weight of 4 tons. This allows workpieces to be both milled and turned in a single setup with precision fit and process reliability, in each case using both roughing and finishing processes. The machines are characterized by high dynamics for heavy components due to low moving masses. Another advantage of our milling centers is the low space requirement in relation to the very large working area. At our location in Chemnitz, we produce both the NSH Group's Nmill-Series milling centers and the MILL E series machines for the Swiss mechanical engineering company Georg Fischer Machining Solutions
