The WEMA-GLAUCHAU brand stands for customized grinding machines as well as workpiece and customer-specific technology solutions for the most demanding grinding tasks. All machines of the brand are developed, designed and manufactured at the Glauchau site, including machine solutions for internal grinding, external grinding, polygon grinding, form and surface grinding, thread grinding, drilling, dressing.
Our requirements:
- Master craftsman/technician training or completed technical/college studies in the field of mechanical engineering
- Relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering desired
- Sound knowledge of CNC programming, machine operation and setup
- Application-ready knowledge of NC controls and solution-oriented approach
- independent, determined, fast and responsible way of working
- application-ready knowledge of English
- willingness to travel required
Your responsibilities:
- Creating, setting up and optimizing NC programs
- Setting up tools and clamping devices
- Carrying out machine acceptance tests and training courses in the company and at the customer's site
- Recorded handover of NC machines to the customer
- Technical support, instruction and training of employees from other company departments
- Operating the company's own machines and equipment as well as the machines and equipment of suppliers
- Communication with customers and suppliers
