Girls power in machine tool manufacturing
Finally, the time has come again: on 27.04.23 the annual Girls' Day, or Girls' Future Day, will take place.
On this day, young women have the opportunity to get to know professions and courses in which the proportion of women is less than 40 percent. The offers come primarily from the fields of technology, crafts, IT and natural sciences.
We have a best-practice example in our company. We took Lisa-Marianne Ranft aside for a short interview. She is one of our regular trainees and has been working as an industrial mechanic in the final assembly area since January. A few years ago she found her way into a technical profession through Girls' Day. A year later she did an internship with us and then started her apprenticeship.
What excites her most about the job itself is the size and variety of the machines and the team spirit that is exemplified here at our company. In addition to her apprenticeship, Lisa is striving for a degree or a master's degree. We hope to be able to support her accordingly!
Take the chance and show us your girl power! You can still register until 20.04.23 via the website: www.girls-day.de
With us, you can expect not only the big technology in the form of our machine tools, but also the small (photo) technology. What does that mean? Find out on the day! Our (machine) doors are open for you!
